Product Guidelines

  • Maximum shelf life of 5 years (shell) from the time of first use – whichever occurs first.
  • Never alter or modify the shell, suspension, or chin strap.
  • Inspect the hard hat each time before use and replace immediately if there is any
    sign of damage.
  • Replace the helmet after it receives a considerable impact.
  • Only use genuine Pyramex accessories and replacement parts that have been
    approved for use with this helmet.
  • Clean only with mild soap and lukewarm water.
  • Store helmet in a clean, dry place that is out of direct sunlight.
  • Do not use paints, chemicals, adhesives, gasoline, or similar substances on the helmet.
  • Labels are acceptable if they do not affect a hard hat’s protective rating or make it
    difficult to find damage
